This is a great sculpture. Made of an African hardwood it was sculpted in 2003 by Shepherd Ndudzo in Botswana. it depicts a kneeling person leaning forward with their hands behind their head with a smaller figure also kneeling opposite the larger figure but leaning backwards. The smaller figure floats the two figures being joined by metal pegs through their knees. We bought this sculpture at an exhibition of Shepherd's work in Gaborone Botswana in 2003 when we were living and working in Botswana.
